General Info
MRL lift’s have been engineered to reduce shaft space
In applications such as small to medium rise residential & office buildings the Dimension Elevator traction MRL lift provides superior ride quality, high quality decorative finishes, & creates more usable space with reduced construction costs. This is achieved through the elimination of a dedicated motor room as required by traditional overhead traction applications.
All components & materials used in our MRL lift’s have been engineered to reduce as much shaft space as possible while still complying with EN81-1:1998 requirements & meeting the certification process CE certification under the Lift Directive 95/16 EC.
Examples of how this space saving is achieved is;
a) through the use of a compact geared or gearless motor or specially engineered hydraulic tank installed at the top/bottom of a conventional lift shaft,
b) by integrating the lift control panel with the landing door & frame.
c) Installing major electrical components such as the VVVF drive, emergency battery drive system etc, inside the lift shaft.
Where a low rise application exists an alternative is our hydraulic MRL. These hydraulic MRL lifts have the advantage of reduced installation costs & provide a cost effective solution when low traffic levels are anticipated.
Both our MRL options have been designed to meet market demands & ensure delivery periods are kept to an absolute minimum.
