Under the Safety Health And Welfare At Work Act (SHAWW) of 2005 and the General Applications Regulations of 2007, all employers have an obligation to provide a safe place, safe equipment and safe system of work for their employers. Industrial Doors are classified as machines and must be regularly maintained to fulfill employers obligations. We can help by fulfilling your requirements under section 31 of the General Applications Regs.EN 13241/1 is a specific regulation governing the acceptable standards for Industrial Doors. It clearly specifies a legal requirement for building owners / employers to regularly maintain Industrial Doors. Works must be undertaken by an external expert company and associated records retained. We can help fulfill your obligations in this regard.
