KZA Design Team decide to Ramp Up new Mitchelstown Aldi Facility.

World renowned design company KZA Architects have selected Dimension 
Engineering to complete the Loading Dock and Industrial Door aspect of 
the massive distribution centre for Aldi.

Based in Essen Germany, KZA have successfully completed several Aldi 
projects throughout Europe. The combination of their valuable 
experience coupled with Dimensions’ specialist knowledge and track 
record led to a client specific solution to address a variety of 
loading needs.

Aldi utilise specialist trailers which require a two stage telescopic 
dock leveller to bridge the gap between the building and the trailer 
bed. Dimensions tailormade controls allow for operatives to firstly 
safely open trailer doors, then activate second stage controls to 
fully extend Dock Leveller onto trailer bed.

The entire loading bay us fully enclosed behind the Hormann SpU Dock 
Door to eliminate drafts and maximise thermal effeciency. Where tail 
lift bays are utilised, a fully insulated dock leveller is installed 
to provide a basis for the Dock Door seal.

All equipment is fully tested and certified to conform not only with 
minimum legal machinery directives, but to the more rigorous standards 
dictated by both Dimension and KZA.
